Pine River Vacation Rental accomodations
On the first floor are the dining room, kitchen, and main living room. The bedroom on the first floor has a queen size bed, there is a full bathroom with shower stall, and the laundry area.
On the second floor there is a large loft area which serves as a second living room. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other has a set of twin-size beds. The bathroom is a full bathroom with tub.
There is a large deck towards the river furnished with rocking chairs and tables for your outdoor enjoyment and relaxation.
I have additional living quarters in a room off from the garage, which is where I stay when I have guests.
Things To Do
The Pine River is a favorite for many visitors to northern Michigan for canoeing, kayaking, tubing, as well as fishing and hunting. The Pine is a designated Michigan Natural River, a Federal ‘Wild and Scenic’ River, and a ‘Blue Ribbon Trout Stream.
Many guests bring their own watercraft and I can help with spotting their vehicle for an additional fee. Some guests like to start their paddling trip upstream from the Pine River Vacation Rental and paddle back down to the home. Guests can enjoy a 5-hour, 4-hour, 3-hour, or 2-hour trip that would allow them to paddle back to the home.
Other guests prefer the lower Pine River which is where most of the white water is. For folks paddling the lower Pine, river-use permits are required and can be obtained from the US Forest Service.
For the hiking enthusiast, the trail head for the Silver Creek Pathway is a 2-minute walk from the front door of the home. The Lincoln Hills ORV State Trail is just 1/4 mile up the road and connects the ORV’ers to miles of trails that continue through Lake, Wexford, and Manistee counties
